Through a report, police announce that 14 firearms (12 pistols, one with silencers, and 2 rifles, 2077 cannabis seeds, brushes and ammunition, 3 vehicles and 8 mobile phones were seized.
It is also known that 10 people have been arrested and two other citizens have been declared in search.
Arrested are citizens Emire Tusha, Leandro Haxhiaj, Fabrizio Berberi, Ricardo Hajdaraj, Visar Murati, Kevin Farcufi, Geraldo Muraj and Adriano Shehu.
According to sources, people brought weapons mainly from Kosovo, but also from other countries. First they stored them and then sold it away to members of criminal groups. In some cases even purchases of undercover police workers have been made.
The payments ranged from 10,000 to 2,500 euros, depending on the firearm. The main base on which the weapons were stored was in Burrel. But much of them also in Shkodra, Fushe-Kruje, Tirana.

DVP Tirana/The investigative and operational work for preventing and hitting firearms from Kosovo to Albania.
The police operation named “Puzle” is successfully finalised, following a five-month investigation with proactive methods.
The operation was conducted by the Department for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking, in co-operation with the DVP Operational Force of Tirana, in the direction of the Prosecutor.
There are 14 firearms (12 pistols), one of them with silencers, and 2 machine guns), 2077 cannabis seeds, combs and ammunition, 3 vehicles and 8 mobile phones.
During the investigative period, 12 citizens who trafficked firearms have been identified, mainly from Kosovo to Tirana. 10 of them are in chains, and 2 are being searched.
Experts for the Investigation of Illegal Tribes, in co-operation with the DVP Operational Force Tirana, in the direction of the Prosecutor's Court of the First Case of General Jurition Tirana, following investigative and operational work on the prevention and crackdown on arms trafficking, following a five-month investigation with proactive methods, have successfully finalised the police operation code named “Puzle<1>.
Under the operation based on information provided by the investigation for some citizens suspected of trafficking firearms, mainly from Kosovo to Tirana, with the aim of selling, citizens have been cuffed: E. T., 32, L. H., 21, F. B., 26, R. H., 21, V. M., 23, K. F., 18, G. M., 22, and A. St., 23. And citizens R. K., 41, and A. N., 24.
Those citizens allegedly, after securing firearms mainly in Kosovo, but in various Albanian cities, brought them to Tirana to sell.
During the investigative period, under this proceedings, on the date 01.04.2025, citizens A were banned. P and K. P., after being caught in the friggin with 2 firearms, alleged trafficked from Kosovo, aimed at selling to Tirana.
Following actions, during control of the residence of citizens K. F, police services found and seized 2077 cannabis seeds.
It works for the capture of citizens in search and for the complete record of this criminal activity.
The Tirana Police Department under the direction of the Tirana Prosecution are co-operating intensively with Kosovo police authorities for identifying and apprehending other persons involved in this criminal activity.
The procedure was passed on to the Prosecution Court for Further Action.
