There a Turkish citizen killed his daughter, and injured the other girl and the woman.
Haxhiu has demanded that this case be fully punished.
Full response:
With deep sorrow we received news of the serious event that took place today in Prizren, where a Turkish citizen of temporary residence in the Republic of Kosovo killed his minor daughter and seriously injured the other 11-year-old girl. This terrible act of domestic violence is unacceptable and constitutes a crime that must be fully condemned.
In my personal name and as the National Coordinator for Family Violence, I express the most sincere condolences to the family of the late daughter and solidify with citizens who rightly feel anger and sadness in the face of this criminal act. I hope that quick recovery for the girl who is receiving medical treatment and constant care to overcome this severe trauma.
Violence, in any form, is inlerable. Children are our future, and they have the impossible right to grow up safely, loving and protected, and no one has the right to deny this fundamental right.
The responsible institutions are addressing the high priority case.
