The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has declared that his party is not responsible for the possibility of new elections, but has stressed that they will not accept the country remains permanently blocked.
“The AAK is not responsible for going to elections, but we do not agree that the country will be delayed without borders. If there is a will to move forward, we better get to the election as soon as possible”, Haradinaj has declared in Debat Plus.
He voiced confidence that his party would stand stronger if new elections were held, even if they compete without a coalition with the Social Democrat Initiative.
We don't mind our situation. If we don't go to the coalition, we get a chance to collect our vote and identify ourselves more clearly. We expect better results than in the last elections”, he has stressed.
As for political communication, Haradinaj criticised the lack of direct dialogue among parties.
There's no real communication today. Someone send you a letter, like we were China with someone. We are Kosovo. I think the LDK does not lose anything if it communicates more with the PDK, because we are the opposition”, the AAK leader added.
He has stressed that the AAK remains open for co-operation with opposition parties, but ruled out any possibility of creating bridges with Vetevendosje Movement./Periscopi/
