Haradinaj recalls commander Drinin, May 8th fall

“Erkrem Rexja Drini, was among the most emblems of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which with its ability as leader and visionary, left a lasting impression on our glorious history. Close and respected by all, his loss was a major blow to the country and a deep pain for the family and fellow fighters,” writes Haradinaj.
It also commemorated the sacrifice of village residents Kashica, Staradran and Terstenik, who on May 8, 1999, became the cornerstone of the state we enjoy today.
On the anniversary of that date, Haradinaj also commemorated Lapusnik's glorious Battle, held on 8, 9 and May 10, 1998, one of the battles that changed the course of liberation war by cutting off one of the enemy's main supply arteries.
“With humility and respect, we remember and honor 47 witnesses and 54 Martyrs who fell on the altar of Kosovo freedom. At the same time, on their day, we remember the martyrs and martyrs of the village of Labusha,”, Haradinaj said.
