AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has recalled the massacres of civilians by Serb forces in the villages of Vraniq, Bukos, Savrov and Sopija.
In the columns that were penetrated towards Albania, 35 Albanians were violently divided and massacred in the Buoshi school courtyard, with neither the minor nor the elderly spared.
Remembering them, Haradinaj says it will be permanent, and that the search for justice will never stop.
The pain for the most loved ones will follow us throughout our lives as a society and a nation. We bow respectfully before falling on May 3rd in Bukosh, Suhareka, 26 years ago”.
On May 3rd 1999, Serbian forces halted the convoy of civilians from the villages of Vraniq, Bukosh, Savrov and Sopija, which were moving towards Albania. Of them, 35 brothers and sisters were violently divided and massacred in the courtyard of Bukoshi's school, without sparing any minors or elders. Whole families have shed blood for Kosovo's freedom. This sacrifice obliges us never to stop in seeking justice and punishing those who ordered these crimes against the Albanian people. Forever remembered them!” wrote Haradinaj on Facebook. /Periscope/
