In his Facebook account, Hamiti wrote that the LDK had given the prime minister office to the AAK in 2024.
After the first national elections in Kosovo -- the first in freedom -- held on November 17th 2001, Kosovo formed a government consisting of all three main Albanian parties, LDK, PDK, AAK, as well as minority communities. The LDK has won about 360,000 votes, 45.65%, and 47 deputies in the Assembly. The PDK, 25.70% of the vote and 26 deputies in the Assembly, while the AAK won 7.83% of the vote and 8 deputies in the Kosovo Assembly. With political agreement to build institutions with broad coalitions in March 2002 Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova was elected by the LDK, Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi from the PDK.
