France's Ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, said that currently no concrete information can be provided regarding the time when the European Union has imposed on Kosovo since 2023.
“We have a decision by the European Union's Council of Ministers to gradually remove the measures. Our colleagues in Brussels are working to determine how and how pace this decision will be implemented. I can't give you any more details at the moment, as the discussions are still under way from”, Guerot said.
He stressed that the European Union does not directly link the blockade to the formation of institutions in Kosovo with the process of removing measures. However, according to him, in the absence of functional institutions lifting the measures would have no effect.
“Even if some of these measures were removed now, they would not make any major distinction, because we do not have a government that is accounting for the Assembly anyway. We don't tie both cases”, Guerot said on Rubik's show. /Periscope/
