German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has told “po” the policy of welcoming immigrants, yet he made it clear that under his direction, Germany will not take what it called the “problems of others”.
This attitude has already reflected and in practice: Germany is currently turning more illegal immigrants.
Interior Minister Alexander Dobrendt presented concrete figures. He said it was a few days ago on a visit near Kiefersfelden, at Germany's border with Austria, the number of returns to illegal migrants has increased by 45 per cent.
It's only a week after the government's work began, Merz. Currently, 739 people have returned to the border, in the face of 511 setbacks a week ago under the old government.
According to recent polls, migration poses concern for the Germans, who fear the economy as well. Many municipalities and cities in the country complain of a lack of capacity to cope with the large number of migrants who arrive simultaneously in Germany.
