Germany continues mandate to Bundeswehr in Kosovo

Germany's government has extended the mandate to its military troops serving under KFOR, reports German media “Zeit”.

This decision must also be adopted in Parliament, Germany.

German government spokesman Stefan Cornelius said this decision shows Berlin's continued commitment to peace and stability in the Balkan region.

“The country's security situation remains fragile”, Cornelius said, broadcast Periscope.
