Five young men were arrested early today (May 21st) at the order of the German Federal Prosecutor's Office.

In the meantime, raids are under way at the Mecklenburg-Pomerani, Brandenburg, Hesen and Turingi Quarters.

The arrested suspects are allegedly members or supporters of the group called the latest “Defence End Week” Perhaps the most radical group of young right-wing extremists, which has grown much recently.

At the same time, the term “youth group” sounds like euphemism and harmless because it's about serious criminal acts: according to the Federal Prosecutor's Office assessment, it's about an extremist right-wing terrorist organisation.

The youngest suspects are only 15 years old

Three other members have been arrested earlier and are in custody. And the other five are banned today. Two of them are 15-year-olds from Brandenburg, others are 18 and 21 years old. All are accused of planning or carrying out attacks, DW reports, broadcast Periscope.

Charge: Planning a Bomb Attack

Two 15-year-old high school students from Brandenburg are accused of setting fire to a cultural centre in Altdöburn, in the Oberspreewald-Lausz district in October. Two other young people from Turingia have allegedly carried out an attack on a refugee shelter in Schmölln, in the Altenburger Land neighbourhood. In early January, windows were broken, and the building was shot with pyrotechnics.

A 21-year-old from Saxonia allegedly planned an attack on a asylum-seeker shelter in Senftenberg. To that end, according to the charges, he provided highly explosive tools.
With today's five arrests, investigators have identified eight individuals as key actors. They're all officially suspects. Two live in Mecklenburg-Pomerani, one in Hesen.

Stock Organising

According to investigators, the last “of defence” is organised mainly through groups on networks. In addition to the main communication group, there are subgroups, according to authorities. Anyone who wants to be a member of the group should be proven to have committed a criminal offence, for example, beating an immigrant, if he has set a fire or done any other work.

As evidence, crime must be recorded. They exalt nationalism in conversation and promote massive violence. In addition, the theme is the so - called <x0... the trial of pedophiles” - public exposure of pedophiles with the aim of publishing their names and addresses.

Not all members have yet been identified

According to the assessment of the security services, around 200 people are active in conversations “The last of the defence Veal” throughout Germany. A large number of them have yet to be identified. The federal prosecutor took over the case in late April and classified the group as a terrorist organisation. Investigations conducted at the Lande have been co-ordinated by the Federal Criminal Police Office, in an investigative group called “Deich”.

There are other groups.

This group is not the only one of its kind, although it is probably the most dangerous at the moment. In recent years many groups of right-wing extremist youth have been created, including groups such as “German youth before”, “The rebeling of Elbeland” or “German Attack unit” etc. Members are often teenagers.

The Federal Interior Ministry yesterday has presented the figures for politically motivated crimes during the past year. These figures reflect the social climate in which such groups are formed.

During the past year, some 84,000 politically motivated criminal acts have been marked, which is an increase of about 40%. Mostly violence comes currently from the extreme right-wing. /DW/
