Germany's embassy in a recent post wrote that Berlin supports Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe ? but that action is needed by the Kosovo government in implementing commitments made in dialogue between the EU between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Germany remains strongly committed to Kosovo membership in the Council of Europe, and the goal is attainable. But, Kosovo now needs to act, including meeting commitments under the EU facilitated dialogue”, the embassy wrote.
