This caused QUINT ambassadors to knock at the Prime Minister's door today, where Albin Kurti is still staying.
After this meeting, however, the two sides came up with different statements.
For Kurti, the main topic of discussion was Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, while for some of the QUINT representatives, it was the creation of new institutions in Kosovo.
“Prime Minister Kurti said Kosovo has already fulfilled the legal and institutional criteria for becoming part of this organisation, as praised by the Parliamentary Assembly and the rapporteur for Kosovo membership”, said in the prime minister's announcement.
While British Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves said they encouraged quick formation of institutions.
“This afternoon I met with the acting prime minister [Albin] Kurt along with the other Quinn ambassadors. I encouraged the formation of a new government as soon as possible to act in the interest of Kosovo and its citizens, making progress on core issues, such as unblocking funds and progress towards Euro-Atlantic integration”, Hargrees wrote.
Meanwhile German Ambassador to Pristina Jorn Rohde, who was not present at the meeting, said his deputy stressed that “Kosovo needs a stable government, capable of making decisions”.
Many important tasks -- both domestic and international -- are pending and progress is needed on core questions”, the Rohde school on social networks.
Otherwise, tomorrow the 15th try, without changing anything, for the election of Albulen Hadziu as Kosovo Assembly Speaker.
Former opposition political parties have called for its shift as candidacy to another more common candidate. /Periscopi/
