Families of victims from the tragedy at discotheque “Pulse” in North Macedonia have rejected the prime minister's invitation to a planned meeting in Skopje on 13 May.
Through a report sent to the media, they have explained that the reason for this refusal is the delayed invitation and the demand for the meeting to be held in their town, Kocan.
“We are of the opinion that the meeting should be held in our town, as part of the family do not have the opportunity to travel due to the consequences of tragedy”, the report says.
Victims' families stress that this stance is in line with the majority's opinion and that they will continue to seek justice through the protest that will be held on May 16th in Kocani.
The “is a way to mark the pain, seek justice and remind institutions that such tragedies should not be repeated”, the announcement concluded. /Periscope/
