Erion Veliaj is notified by detention: Calls to vote Edi Rama

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has been notified from custody before the May 11th elections.

He has sought to vote Edi Rama and SP.

Dear friends, citizens of Tirana and all of Albania,

When I see today Giro d'talia, which is organised in Albania, which this afternoon arrives in Tirana, I remember that gray Albania and Tirana, without parks, without roads, without vision, without dignity, where you could not even ride by bicycle, no longer host a event of global size like this.

And I'm really proud of myself, but for our Tirana that is green today, it's filled with energy and work, there are schools and parks and roads and opportunities for citizens, like a real European city. I'm proud of our Albania that not only has been dramatically transformed, as far as it looks like another country from what we had until yesterday, but it's moving at a tremendous pace towards Europe that we've dreamed so long.

I would love to be in this campaign, not as a spectator, but as part of it. Because I believe hard, with all my heart, in this road that we built together. But even at a distance, I can't help but give you a call from the heart:

On Sunday, when you go to vote, when you take the ballot card and see the list of parties and candidates there, stop for a moment and remember how Tirana was and how it is today. Remember what Albania was like and what was done. Remember who brought this change, and who would turn it back.

One Vote for Saliu & Co means to kick our children's European future.
But there should be no fear of that unjust crowd of reason to make the right choice on May 11th. Your 11 May vote should not be a vote against Sali or the partisans coming out of the DP's belly. Your vote should be one vote for work, for hope, for transformation. Your vote should be a vote for the present that makes us proud and the European future we deserve.

There's only one team in the field that deserves your trust today. Therefore, despite my love and gratitude, I invite you:
Vote the Socialist Party. Vote Eddie Rama. Vote Albania moving forward!
