Accompanied by a part of his cabinet, Erdogan held a brief meeting with Rama, during which there were spontaneous moments -- the Turkish president warned Albanian counterpart of the athletes he was wearing. Rama accompanied Erdogan to half the way and then returned.
In a statement to the media, Erdogan voiced optimism about the summit's outcome, stressing the importance this meeting holds right in Albania.
“What we expected, we expect a lot with my Albanian brother. In Albania the whole world will call peace voice”, Erdogan said in Turkish.
