The embassy's announcement adds that its guards, security staff and security guards, along with Kosovo police, have provided training in using weapons.
Thank the Kosovo Police for supporting the US Embassy's security readiness and for enabling their firing range to be used for gun qualifications. Embassy guards, security staff and US Security Guard, along with #Kosovo Police officers assigned to the protection of the Embassy, maintained their ability to use weapons. This training improves emergency preparedness, strengthens co-operation in the area of security between the US and Kosovo, and helps keep the Embassy and our countries safe, the embassy has written.
