While a few hours away from the start of voting for the May 11th parliamentary elections, the Democratic Party has denounced that two vehicles were distributing money in exchange for votes in the area. The DP also claims it has filmed Socialist Party candidate Daniel Djura's father in an alleged act of vote buying.
According to the DP, during the moment of the incident a situation of tension has developed, after which the candidate's father has fled the scene. During his departure, the DP claims that Djura has fired guns into the air, reports Euronews. al, broadcast Periscope.
Numerous police forces have gone to the scene where the raids are under way. The two cars allegedly used for electoral crimes were found abandoned by the road and controlled by police efficiency.
