According to police, the accident occurred at around 3am in the Bassenheim area of the Mayen-Coblenz district, heading towards Trier.
The bus, with nine passengers returning from a family party in Hesse, came out of the way and collapsed several times for still unclear reasons.
According to police, the 22-year-old driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and investigations are still under way.
Among the victims are a 53-year-old man and two women, a 47-year-old and a 65-year-old man. The other six, aged 20 to 66, suffered life - threatening injuries.
We remember that in connection with this accident the Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs says the victims are from Albania.
There was no involvement of other vehicles in the accident, although another vehicle was forced to pull back after the impact on the road.
The highway was closed for more than four hours and opened again in the morning.
Several dozen vehicles of emergency services, police and firemen were present at the scene to help manage the situation and restore the minibis. /Periscope/
