“Defender Europe” starts tomorrow, more than 25 thousand soldiers participate

Kosovo will be the host of this organisation led by the United States Army, for Europe and Africa, writes Index Online.

Part of the several-day exercises will be the armed forces of Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia and Bulgaria.

“Defender Europe” will last until 9 June, while exercises will be conducted mainly in Gjakova.

“over this period of time, there will be movements of convoys from the Kosovo Security Force locations in the Gjakova region, namely, the Gjakova Airport and the military range in Boka's Baba.

Kosovo's Security Force through the execution of this exercise will show operational readiness and the degree of combat interoperability with partner countries and the region, including the United States of America, Albania, Croatia, Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria”, said in the Defence Ministry's announcement.
