For the first time in such a drill, the air supply detail is involved. From searching for rescue with Cougar and Blackhawk Air Base Farka helicopters to supporting ground operations and readiness for medical evacuations MEDEVAC/ CASEVAC”, the ministry said.
The Defence Ministry added that regional co-operation and co-ordination with civil institutions like Albcontrol and international partners like KSF in Kosovo make the exercise an important step for boosting security and readiness in the region.
