Following the report of Periscope followed by documents, Veliaj has reacted to his Facebook profile, where he said he will take legal action against Periscopi portal, as he says “reportedly reported and deliberate damage to my reputation”.
The claims shown in that article are completely false, completely fabricated, and seriously damage my personal and professional reputation, as they purpose. References to my past, including a speculated funny story from 2004, are inappropriate and constitute a low attempt to connect me to baseless political institutions”.
I have always served honestly and fairly on every public task, and I will no longer allow any portal or individual to stain my name without facing the consequences of their actions against me. For this reason, I have decided to take legal action against Periscopi portal and whoever is behind that port of slander and deliberate damage to my reputation”, it is said among other things in Veliaj's response.
In the published article of PeriscopeAmong other things, he has informed the public about a short profile of the exploits of Dardan Veliaj.
Dardan Velija carries a controversial story dating back to 2004, when a police report included him, Albin Kurtin and Jelena Bjelicen, in a ban “below Cebe” in the Serb-run village of Bince. The claims suggest a secret meeting with figures linked to Serbian structures, including the Donciq brothers. Veliya and his co-owner at “
Dardan Velija, one of the most recently talked names about his related ties to the government and previous dubious stories, has again become the focus of attention after gaining a large grant.
The company where Velija is co-owner along with Naim Huruglica, Foreign Adviser of Agriculture Minister Faton Peci, has won a 100,000-euro grant from the Agriculture Development Agency (AZHB). This has sparked strong reactions, suggesting a clear link between close personal interests and possible political favours.
It's also known for other financial benefits. In the past year, the company earned 10,000 euros for covering damage caused by natural disasters.
On the other hand, Periscope has also published a document uncovered by MP. PDK, Bekim Haxhiu, shed light on a big ban that took place in 2004.
Always quoting, PDK's Haxhiu, Dardan Velija, along with Albin Kurtin and Vlora Bajqinovci, were detained by Kosovo Police in the village of Bince, inhabited mainly by Serbs.
As Haxhiu said, the same one, along with Jelena Bjelica, had visited the village of Bince, where the Donciq founding brothers of the organisation “Bozhur” were at the meeting.
Golub Donciq was BIA inspector (UDB), while Boban Donciq was Yugoslav Army captain.
In Haxhi's letter in 08.02.2012 to Florin Krasniqi, former chairman of the Commission for AKI Supervising, he accuses Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti, for whom he claims to spread Kurti's co-operation with questionable Serbian circles.
“Albin Kurti in January 2004 has held meetings with Serbia's criminal structures. The meeting is held in the village of Bindja, the municipality of Kline, at the Donciq family house (Boban of Golub Donciq), both members of Serbia's criminal structures, Boban Donciq, captain of Serbia's army, while Golub Donciq, member of Serbia's State Security (BIA)”, is said to be among the others in the document.
Following the incident is noted that Kosovo police had detained them in the Golf car, in which Dardan Velija, Golub Donciq, sat ahead, while Jelena Bjelica, Vlora Bajcinovci and Albin Kurti sat behind.
These statements of Bekim Hagi supported, in part, this letter of testimony of January 17, 2004.
“Boban Donqiq, Golub Donqiq. GTD-white Golf car, owner Agron Hamza. 1. Albin Kurti, 2. Vlora Bajqinovci, 3. Dardan Velija” says in this report drafted by Geg Prajaj and Fadil Ahmetgekaj.
Albin Kurti was covered in blankets. The meeting was held at Donciq Dance House, attended by Misha Willotic, senior hierarchy in Serbian state security. BIA. Boban Donciq, captain of the Serbian Army, was also at the meeting. Albin Kurti explains the purpose of this meeting”, Bekim Hadzi's letter stressed.
Although the report does not specifically mention Jelena Bjelica, her involvement in these confessions has added even more mystery and doubt about the case. /Periscopi/
