Similarly, the communique also says that workers will continue the strike until the demands are met.
Besides, the Union claims that, the contract signed with the Pristina municipality, envisions another service and that the same does not constitute crisis solutions.
Full communication:
As for the meeting held today between the CRM Labour Union “Cleaning”, and the Pristina municipality announces public opinion that, despite the ongoing discussions, the municipality has offered no concrete solutions to our fundamental demands.
The contract signed yesterday between the Komuna and the company “Cleaning” envisions a completely different service ʹ surface services worth 1.5m euros and does not provide solutions to the real crisis we face. The means of this contract are not immediate and cannot enable immediate recovery in the operation.
We stress that we continue the strike until our basic demands are met, including:
*The payment for January until May, for the services we have performed, has not yet been received from the municipality, which would enable the immediate supply of oil and the return of the company to full office.
* The urgent signing of the basic contract for regular waste collection services in Pristina.
* Solving the company's status through a stable agreement that guarantees institutional and financial support.
* Cutting off contracts with private operators, who are providing parallel services by damaging the public company.
* The necessary consultation with the KR “Cleaning” for any decision affecting operation on Pristina territory.
* Respecting the dignity and rights of workers, including dealing with institutional responsibilities.
Without meeting these requirements, the strike will not cease. Any partial solution is unacceptable and does not affect our determination to protect public interest, the dignity of workers and the sustainability of the public company.
We also apologize publicly for bringing one of the workers to media representatives today. There has been an explosion of emotions as a result of repeated provocations by municipal officials, and does not represent the general value of workers of “Cleaning”.
We thank all the media for the commitment, commitment and fair reporting. You are our most important support in this battle to fight the evil we are facing these days.
