In his address May 26th before the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Rutte reacted to Serbian representatives, calling terms use useless as “regime in Pristina”, which according to him do not contribute to the calming of the situation. “does not work. Serbia is the largest country in the region and we need its leadership. But please refrain from this rhetoric”, he said.
Rutte stressed the importance of the NATO Force in Kosovo KFOR, naming it a key factor for regional stability. He guaranteed that the alliance would ensure KFOR is always prepared and equipped with all necessary capacities, without confirming whether growth or troop reduction is expected.
