Iliran Celibashi, chairman of Albania's Central Election Commission, has confirmed that he has called on political parties that have members in the KZAZ and at GNV to assume the responsibility they are entitled to promote numerators and commissioners in the KZAZ, where the voting counting process has not yet been completed.
In a Facebook post, he said this process should be completed within the legal deadline, specifically by 24:00 today.
There is no reason why this process will not be completed within this deadline. Recognising and respecting the candidate rights for MPs to observe and oversee the counting process, we invite them to avoid any involvement in unnecessary communication or pressure on numerators and commissioners”.
The responsibility for failing to define the process in time belongs fully to political parties. The Central Election Commission has undertaken and is undertaking all efforts to ensure the prosperity and completion of the process. If the situation does not change within the deadline, we regret to announce that all responsible persons will face legal sanctions”, Celibashi has said./Periscopi/
