The incumbent prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Senior Representative Kaya Kallas at a working dinner last night.
Welcoming them in Pristina, Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for the European Union's visit and support for Kosovo.
They discussed relations between Kosovo and the EU, the European reform agenda and the Growth Plan.

The prime minister stressed that our country, along with the foreign policy line with that of the European Union, has made considerable progress in internal reforms and that this is also identified and testified in the EU country's reports. The Prime Minister thanked Mrs. Kallas for announcing that the EU has started gradually removing restrictive measures against Kosovo and its efforts in this direction, while adding that they must be completely removed and stressed that Kosovo should receive candidate status as the most advanced democracy of the Western Balkans.
During dinner tabled by the incumbent prime minister, there was also discussion of the post-election process in the country and commitments to forming institutions of the ninth legislature.
Regarding the EU-mediated dialogue process, the prime minister stressed the importance of full implementation of the basic agreement and its annex. While recalling that Serbia should be held responsible for the terrorist and paramilitary attack in Banjska and that chief terrorist Milan Radojciq, for whom there is already 160-page indictment by the Kosovo Republic prosecution, must be handed over to Kosovo.
Prime Minister Kurti also raised the issue of continued and serious violations of the rights of Albanians in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc from the state of Serbia and demanded that the EU take concrete actions to protect the rights of Albanians in the valley. /Periscope/
