Through a Facebook post, Begaj says the US Deputy Secretary of State thanked him for US support in carrying out reform in justice, developing democracy and strengthening institutions, as well as in the field of defence and security.
The productive “meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. I praised the US as a friendly historic country, strategic partner, powerful NATO ally, an irreplaceable actor for developments in our region”.
I thanked “for US support in carrying out reform in justice, developing democracy and strengthening institutions, as well as in the area of defence and security. Faithful that more American investments will come to Albania in the field of tourism, energy, defence and cyber security”, Begaj wrote.
