Bajrami after handing over criminal gossip to Kurti and the ministers in office: It is now in the hands of the Prosecutor

LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami said that on behalf of MPs from her party they handed over 17 criminal charges to the Special Prosecutor against former Prime Minister Albin Kurti and all former cabinet ministers who have been elected MPs, for misuse of office or official authority, contrary to the Law on Government.

“We have submitted 17 criminal charges against former Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his former cabinet rulers, including a former deputy minister. All these elected MPs and certified according to the election result from the CEC on 27 March. We believe that from March 27th these are contrary to Article 26 of the Law on Government, this bill, drafted and approved by the votes of the Vetvendosje Movement deputies in the past” mandate, Bajrami said before reporters today after handing over criminal charges.

She said that since the Certificate date to this day “continues to stay in the ministry's offices, using resources, making decisions that have financial consequences and other consequences and exploiting the resources of Kosovo institutions, these MPs have consumed criminal work”.

The LDK lawyer's group has requested access to documents from some ministers we've received, others haven't given us access, but of the information we've had we've been addressing the Special Prosecutor, now it's up to it to look for access to other decisions”.

Bajrami said that Kurti and former ministers “have said they have resigned and continue to stay in office”.

The LDK later in a media communiqué said its deputies “seek out the prosecution to launch criminal investigations against all suspects, review all decisions made by the government after the certificate and undertake all necessary actions to ensure criminal and political responsibility”./Periscopi/
