Journalist and one of the TV leaders Kanal 10 said the president has launched commitment to forming a new political initiative after sharing with the Guxo party, which he founded in 2020.
The Guxo Party, founded by Osmani, is now headed by co-chairmen Donica Grovalla-Schwarz and Faton Peci, both members of the Kurti II government, Paparaci reports.
Ahmeti, during a report about political developments in the country on Monday prior to the continuation of the Kosovo Parliament's Constituent session, said President Osmani has started a few weeks since “intensively engaged in creating a political platform”.
The country's various personalities have been communicated to join Vjosa Osmani's new initiative”, he said.
According to Ahmeti, there are two circumstances under which Osman's new political initiative can operate.
One of them is the return of Osman and its list of the Democratic League of Kosovo, part of which the current president was until 2020.
“This list does not rule out the possibility that all of them can return together to LDK, and in such a circumstance Vjosa Osmani intends to regain LDK leader if a race is opened within the Democratic League”, Ahmeti confirmed.
“under another circumstances, Osman will compete with a new political party and take on membership and mechanisms that will be forwarded from the List of Guso, including potentially any Kosovo Assembly MP who can join its new” initiative, journalist Ahmeti said.
President Osmani began consultative meetings with the four leaders of parliamentary political parties last week, aimed at reaching an agreement on resolving the stalemate in the Kosovo Assembly framework.
She hosted Albin Kurti, Memli Krasniqi, Lumir Abdixhiku and Ramush Haradinaj at the meeting.
The meeting ended without success, but Osman at a media conference after the joint meeting warned the continuation of meetings with political party leaders.
The Kosovo Assembly will meet today in the 18th continuation of the assembly's constitutional session, in an attempt to form institutions -- a process which has stalled since the confirmation of the parliamentary election results.
