As a result of this operation, two people suspected of involvement in narcotics distribution activities have been arrested. The arrests have been conducted in different areas of the capital.
“During body control and in suspected locations, considerable amounts of the alleged narcotics-type substance have been seized. A total of 626 grams of marijuana, a cigarette filled with the same substance, cash, and equipment for measurement and packing have been confiscated. The market value of the confiscated substance is estimated to be around 3,000 euros”, the report said.
The Regional Forenzice Unit has emerged at the scene to document and seize material evidence.
Following the necessary procedures, suspects have been escorted to police offices for interviews.
By order of the guardian prosecutor, the same have been sent to the detention centre for 48 hours, the KB report follows.
Investigations concerning this case are under way in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina.
