“In this period, Albin Kurti is testing the lens of the dictatorship: a) usurping institutions without democratic legitimacy and resistance of other political parties; b) the tightening of the media by naming the hybrids and arms of Vuciq... and c) is praising what the number of Stalinists supporting the dictatorship and how many opponents there are <x>, says Matos for the Online Front

 

He describes the situation as alarming for media freedom and for democratic society as a whole, accusing the government of creating a climate of distrust against journalists.

Until journalists are surrounded by enemies of freedom, and the Government has planted rejection of and distrust of the media in public, Albin Kurti's people accuse and target any critical voice, which does not submit to the decaying end-of-the-line”, he says.
