The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has been informed by German authorities of a serious road crash occurred in the early morning hours of May 25th, near the town of Koblenz, where several Albanian citizens are involved.
We regret that as a result of this accident three Albanian citizens have lost their lives, while four others have been injured and are receiving treatment in local hospitals.
The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Berlin and the General Consulate in Munich have been in constant contact with German authorities and have closely followed developments. Investigations into the accident's circumstances are still under way.
The ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs expresses the most sincere condolences for the families of the victims and wishes full recovery for the wounded.
