On Monday, June 2nd, the first box of the May 11th parliamentary elections in Albania will open for verification.
The Commission for Ankes and Sanctions (KAS) decided this Thursday to open the ballot box at a polling station in Vlora County.
The complaint about this polling centre was made by the coalition “Nisma Albania becomes”, under which the ballots had no stamps.
After these allegations, KAS decided to open the box to verify whether the ballot sheets are valid.
In addition, the Commission for Pollies and Sanctions concluded the preliminary review of the Democratic Party's three complaint requests for the Berat, Gjirokastra and Vlora districts, deciding to take up external voting data as evidence in administrative review. / TCh
