Kosovo police have announced that a broad operation in the operation of combating illegal activities has been carried out to connect with the organisation of pyramid schemes and game of illegal fate.
As reported, the operation has been ongoing since April 25th 2025, following reliable information for the development of such illegal activities in several locations in the Pristina region, follows Periscope.
- They've been inspected with monitoring systems, 75 different locations, including houses, local business sites and escorts.
In 25 of them, detailed checks have been taken.
7 local inspectors have been closed by the Ministry of Industry, Undertaking and Trade, and municipal inspectors for lack of relevant documentation or licenses.
- Ten criminal cases were initiated, official notes and operational reports related to various criminal acts, such as:
Game of fate, unauthorized possession of narcotics, possession without permission, planning, processing and selling narcotics. During the operation, they have been seized in quality of important evidence:
13 lucky games; 1 AK-47 automatic weapons, 1 cold weapon (thic) and 1 metal boxing; laboratory equipment for drug processing, including a suspected amount of narcotics in plastic bags; 2726 euros ready;2 laptops, 1 printers, 1 printers, a cash bag and 15 pairs of gambling cards, and 3 mobile phones suspected of being used for online payments on sports bets.
Kosovo's “Police remain committed and steadfast in its commitment to preventing and fighting illegal activities that violate order and public safety. This operation once again testifies to the professionalism, institutional co-operation and commitment of police officials to the protection of the legitimacy and interest of citizens”, reported in the media report.
14 people have been arrested, suspected of direct involvement in these illegal activities.
Of them, 7 have been banned by 48 hours of moderate maintenance, while another 7 have been released in regular procedure.
