Among other things, Abdixhiku said to have stressed the need for the removal of EU punitive measures against Kosovo, imposed nearly two years ago.

Today, I met High Representative, Vice President of the European Commission, Mrs. Kaya Kallas, on her first visit to Pristina.
I expressed the LDK's positions on the necessity of lifting the measures to the Republic of Kosovo. These measures more than a Government hurt the people of Kosovo themselves. I laid out our views on the process of dialogue and the future ahead.
I announced it on the current political crisis in the country and the LDK proposal for the sweeping government as the only functional idea today.
Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic path calls for political confidence, requires courage decision-making, as does a European Union that offers vision and future for the people of Kosovo.
