The LDK through an announcement has indicated that during the meeting it was discussed the recent political developments in the country, with particular emphasis on the institutional crisis and, reportedly, its impact on the regular functioning of democratic institutions.
This meeting has also been discussed on the LDK's proposal for transitional government, Klankosova.tv.
“Abdijku announced Ambassador Rohde's proposal for the establishment of a National Transitional Government as a temporary but necessary solution to overcome the current stalemate and restore state functionality. In this context, President Abdixhiku reaffirmed the LDK's stance that political and institutional blockades are unacceptable, underlining that such a situation directly affects the welfare of citizens and undermines the normal course of state processes as well as the country's institutional development”.
“During this meeting, President Abdixhiku expressed deep gratitude for the continued support Germany has given and continues to give to the Republic of Kosovo, especially in integration processes, strengthening democratic institutions and the country's economic development, and reconfirmed bilateral co-operation between the two countries and commitment towards further advancement of this co-operation”, it is said further in the report. /Periscope/
