Abdixhiku expects Swedish ambassador to meet, announced about proposal for a Transition Government as a way out of crisis

At this meeting, President Abdixhiku briefed Ambassador Westerlund on LDK's positions regarding the current situation and on the party's concrete proposal for creating one National Transition Government, which he described as a temporary, responsible and necessary solution to overcome the institutional blockade and offer citizens a functional solution to daily problems.
Abdixhiku stressed that the institutional blockade, which has led to the failure of the Assembly meetings for the 15th time in a row, is unacceptable and is directly affecting citizens' lives, undermining state functionality and confidence in public institutions.
The flow of this situation is making daily living and making the state dysfunctional. Our proposal is a reasonable breakthrough that can restore stability and pave the way for free and fair elections in a quiet institutional environment,” said Abdixhiku.
A bilateral co-operation issues were also addressed at the meeting, where President Obadiah expressed his gratitude for the continued support Sweden has given and is providing for Kosovo in democratic and development processes.
