Even Kosovo, like more than 100 countries in the world, marks May 1st as a day off. The workers have won this free day. Today it marks the workers ' own efforts and achievements as international movement. Under different but unified languages and flags in class, working and employed status, we are about those who keep both the state and society, those who live from their work.
May 1 reminds us of the combined workers with workers in the world.
Since the beginning of our rule, we have been working in two directions. One is that of increasing employment, and, the other, is working with dignity. As employment increases, job exploitation decreases, the economy rises, well-being increases, and society is revived. This is the opportunity and effect of those employed, worth something else. The more employed the opportunity to exploit those who are only in working reports is reduced. The lower unemployment, it cannot serve as a threatening measure for those who are only employed with the possibility of replacing. The second turn is dignity at work. In these two directions, during our mandate three times we have increased wages in the public sector, and the minimum wage in the private sector twice - between 135/170 to 264, and then 350 euros - we have subsidized salary growth for 17 thousand workers in the private sector and over 16 thousand young people between the ages of 18 and 29 have been employed through the government platform Superpuda, of more than half of them girls and women. We've lowered unemployment from more than 25% to less than 11%, we've increased the formalisation of employment by providing workers with access to their legal rights, we've increased inspections because we've tripled the number of job inspectors, and we'll fivefold by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, our unions must be with more workers, fewer and fewer workers without unions. And, they become an active part of union networks in Europe for more solidarity, organisation and protection of rights and freedoms of workers.
Despite progress and improvements, we are not yet where we want to be and where we need to be, so our work, commitment and commitment to boost the welfare of citizens through employment and the protection of workers in the workplace continue.
Happy May 1st workers!
