The crimes committed in Lübenic by Serbian military, police and paramilitary forces constitute one of the most serious acts of genocide against the Albanian civilian population in Kosovo. Despite numerous evidence, neither local nor international justice has succeeded in putting the perpetrators to account.
Surviving residents, victims' families continue to seek justice, while Lybeniqi remains a symbol of Albanian people's pain and resistance during the recent war in Kosovo. /Periscopi/
