Viva Fresh benefits the largest ever EURZH financing for a Kosovo company

Within the framework of the Annual Meeting and the EURZH Business Forum 2025, which is being held in London, the company Viva Fresh has signed a landmark financing agreement worth 25m euros. This is the biggest financing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERZH) has ever provided for a company from Kosovo.

The deal was signed by Viva Fresh owner Xhevdet Rexhepi, along with Zsuzsanna Hargitai, Finance and Development Group Managing Director for Small and Middle Enterprises in the EURZH; Matteo Colangeli, Regional Chief for the Western Balkans; and Andreea Moraru, member of the ENEF II Board.

This strategic partnership between Viva Fresh, BERZH and ENEF II comes within the framework of the European Union's Western Balkans Investment Framework and is seen as an important moment not only for the company in question, but also for private sector development in Kosovo. According to representatives of the EBRD, this funding reflects the trust of international institutions in Viva Fresh as a leading company that has transformed retail trade in the country and is willing to expand its influence in the region as well.

Part of this expansion is the purchase of the Spor Albania network, with which Viva Fresh aims to expand beyond Kosovo's borders and transform consumer experience into the Albanian market. The company promises modern standards, easy access and the focus on stability at all its retail points.
