Today the 17th episode: Constitution Attempts Again

Kosovo's elected deputies will gather for the 17th time in a row to try to forge the Parliament, the process that has been continuing for more than a month. The session scheduled for April 15th is expected to take place by 10:30. The Assembly has issued official notice of maintaining [...]
The Assembly has issued official announcements of holding this session, which comes after the day before failed the commission's approval of Albulen Hadziu's secret vote by VV as a candidate for prime minister, which prompted the hearing to be interrupted.
The same day, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani called leaders of the four largest parliamentary parties at the meeting: P DK, LDK, VV and AAK to discuss the established blockade.
However, the meeting did not produce any concrete agreements among the parties.
Header The PDK, Memli Krasniqi, said it had asked VV chairman Albin Kurti to withdraw Albulen Hadziu's candidacy, calling it a necessary step to get out of the crisis: “on behalf of the PDK, asked that VV chairman Kurti change the candidate. I don't expect that to happen. We are in the same situation we are in,” Krasniqi said.
Even Ramush Haradinaj from the AAK backed the president's invitation and stressed the importance of a unifying candidate for running the Assembly: “We have welcomed this possibility of talking with the president,” he said.
Meanwhile, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku expressed his disappointment at the lack of will from the ruling party to unblock the process: “From the first party, there is no concern, nor urgency that this issue be resolved as soon as possible,” he stressed.
After the meeting ended, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti issued no press statement.
Likewise, President Osmani has hosted the meeting, not the majority Kosovo Assembly representatives.
On the other hand, Osmani has positively assessed the position of representatives of political parties who attended the meeting called by it to discuss the current political situation in the country.
At a media conference after the meeting, Osmani commended leaders for the constructive approach that, according to her, showed during discussions, despite differences in attitudes.
“I want to congratulate leaders on constructive approach along this meeting, however different positions were on the overwhelming majority of subjects. So, if I can say it, there's a minimum mood that I'm convinced will grow over time”, she said.
Meanwhile, it warned the possibility of sending the case to the Constitutional Court if the procrastination continues: “Sending to the Constitutional Court has been discussed for the first time,” she said, adding that she has seen only one “due to minimal” from the leaders for solutions. /Periscope/
