According to the official calendar, parliamentary work will continue until 8 July.
In this transitional period, before the new legislature starts, annual reportings of all public institutions, from constitutional to independent agencies are expected to be held in the Albanian Parliament. New laws will not be considered during this period, as, according to the Constitution, the adoption of laws 60 days before the mandate of MPs expired.
The new Parliament, released from the May 11th elections, is expected to convene on 9 September. In this first session, new deputies will be sworn in, as will the new Speaker of the Parliament.
