According to official information from German police, three people have been injured as a result of the attack, including an 11-year-old girl, reports Focus.de
Authorities said the wounded are a 29-year-old man with serious wounds, another 47-year-old man with minor injuries, and a child girl fortunately suffering only minor cuts. All three were rushed to hospital for medical treatment, broadcast Periscope.
According to the first reports, the attack was preceded by a debate allegedly because of the noise children were making at the entrance. Eyewitnesses quoted by the newspaper “Mitteldeutsche Zeitung” said the attacker had left the apartment and stabbed some children in front of the entrance.
The alleged author is a 46-year-old from Kosovo, who was arrested a few minutes after the police event. He is currently in custody, as investigations continue to clarify the exact circumstances of the incident, as well as the kind of tool used in the attack.
Police are conducting expertise at the scene and have imposed several marketings for collecting material evidence. Landshots indicate the presence of numerous police forces and emergency units.
