On Saturday, April 5, 2025, a protest will be held in Pristina against rising the price of electricity, which is expected to have a serious impact on citizens and businesses. Activists and citizens to gather in “Square Skenderbe”, starting at 3: 00 p.m., to express opposition to 15% increase in electricity tariffs, Periscope.
Luan Hasanaj, organiser of the group “No Cent on the multi”, has called for broad support from citizens and businesses.
He has demanded that all businesses, in terms of solidification, close their premises for an hour, between 1500 and 1600.
Hasanaj has said that this increase in energy prices is not only a burden to citizens, but also to businesses, increasing operating costs and jeopardising the sustainability of economic activities.
He has called for this symbolic act to serve as a powerful message.
