VV MP admits they don't have votes today for electing the Speaker of Parliament.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Arber Rexhaj has acknowledged that, even for today's session, they have no more votes than in past sessions for choosing the Speaker of the Parliament, where Albulen Haxhiu proposed.

The one in six attempts has not received enough votes, 57 votes for receiving Sunday's session.

Rexhaj has said he expects new developments Tuesday, hoping in the reflection of opposition parties, which, according to him, should not block the constitution.

“We have those numbers that we have back at the last session 57, and this is already known. We consider that even the opposition to play its constructive role to spend on this 15 days where the first subject in this time must form the government. We see whether we have numbers or not. Rexhaj speaking of the opposition's call for exchange of the candidate for the prime minister has said this is not the font of wishes.

He has said that the right to the proposal belongs to them, and that the candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament will be Albulen Haxhiu, who, according to him, will soon be the chief observer to reject all the items raised against her.

It's very much discussed in the sense of fountain wishes of other subjects, that we change the candidate and put someone else in place, but let's not forget Haxhi is the most voted woman in Kosovo.
