US President Donald Trump has warned Americans that they may face difficulties before his <x0->responding liberation” restore the country's economic power.
The sweeping Trump tariffs for most US business partners came into force Thursday, prompting the US Stock Exchange to suffer its worst crash since the COVID-19 pandemic. China has reacted by imposing a 34% tax on American goods, with other countries promising revenge as well.
In a post on his platform “Truth Social” on Saturday, the US president told the U.S. public that “remains firmly on” pending the international community's response to its economic policies.
