Kosovo businesses are complaining of jams in the shipping process at the Durres Port and that truck departures are not being allowed under a protocol signed by Albania's Finance Ministry in 2016 for the joint t2 tranche.
They say they have received the announcement from Kosovo Customs, which has been announced by Albania's Customs that the joint t2 t2 tranche under the agreement between the two governments no longer applies from April 9th 2025, says Kosova Prees, broadcasts Periscope.
Businesses have expressed concern that this is causing them chaos in the labour process, saying it should only be deposited T1 from Albania's customs agency.
They call for a quick response from Kosovo institutions, as they are blocked in the transport process.
We remember, within the framework of the agreement between Kosovo and Albania on co-operation in promoting and facilitating trade, reached in Prizren on January 11th 2014, Albania's Finance Ministry had adopted the directive on December 19th 2016 on implementation of procedures for the joint Albanian-Kosovo transitation.
On the basis of the directive, the joint transit procedure between the two countries will be carried out using a transitation statement and a single guarantee for coverage of the movement, where, in the Asicda World system, the declaration for conducting the common trans process between the two countries will be met with T2.
The final provision of the directive is said to have all other steps taken normally according to T1 Transit Procedure Education.
