Tomorrow comes the Parliament after the 48-hour pause: VV without numbers, Haxhiu no support

On Sunday, the constitutional sessions will continue following the next failure that took place Friday. The Vetevendosje movement will again have the right to nominated a name for the Parliament's chairman, but it does not seem to be different from the previous session. Albulen was nominated for the fourth time Friday, but was again rejected by Kosovo Assembly deputies. Again, for the fourth time in a row, only 57 MPs voted in favour.
The Vetevendosje movement has not shown any sign that it will change the candidate's name for chairman, but following its failure to elect Haxhi on Friday, it warned it would consider the new elections as well.
Other Albanian parties have asked the VV to find another candidate who manages to get votes from other MPs, but the first party does not seem to be interested in that.
Fatmir Limaj of the Initiative said the VV should leave the way, since it is seen to be out of numbers. There were reports in the media that the VV and Initiative have agreed on a governing coalition, but this is not happening on the horizon.
Mimoza Kusari-Lila, former head of the VV parliamentary group, said that if the speaker of the Parliament is not elected Sunday, then the country must go to the polls.
Even the PDK, with Chairman Memli Krasniqi, has cited the new elections as a possible option, even demanding June 15th as election day.
However, the Constitution does not envision any restrictive deadlines for the constitutional session, provided it is not suspended for more than 48 hours, cycle that is continuing for more than a week. The new elections can also be announced without the constitution being conditioned. /Periscope/
