According to new tariffs, consumers who spend up to 800 kilowatts within a month will pay 9.05 cents per kilowatt from 7.79 cents as they currently pay, followed. Periscope.
While for those who spend more than 800 kilowatta, the kilowatt will cost 15.43 cents from 14.45 as it currently is.
During the period from April 1st to September 30, from 11: 00 p.m. to 8: 00 a.m., the price for kilowatt has been expensive at 3.88 cents from 3.34 cents for those who spend up to 800 kilowatts. Meanwhile, those who spend more than 800 kilowatts will pay 7.21 cents per kilowatt from 6.81 are currently paying.
The ERR makes the annual review and assignment of electricity tariffs, which are announced every year on April 1st and apply until March 31st of the following year.
The tariff price hike comes after the ZERE board on 11 April has approved the demands of three energy operators for maximum access.
System, Transmission and Market Operator [ COMM STT], Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company. [ KEDS] and the Kosovar Company for Electricity Supplier [Electrons] KESCO] called for the price of electricity tariffs due to electricity imports.
Against the cost of electricity, a protest was held in Pristina on April 11th, the day the ZRR approved the operators' demands for increased tariffs.
