In a particularly sharp comment reported by Reuters, Sánchez said Europe now faces a trade attack from the West, as responding to a military attack from Russia to the East.
The Spanish prime minister accuses Trump of causing an unfair and unwarranted crisis.
In a speech given by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, he said Spain would overcome this unjust and unwarranted crisis in which some people have decided to sink the world.
“I will not allow myself to retreat into thinking of playing with zero sum or in a way to see the world that is ruled by fear, disinformation and short term. We will continue to push for a fair distribution of wealth, environmental stability and equality between men and women.
