She has expressed satisfaction with the talks being held in Washington and has stressed that Switzerland is part of a group of states with which the US is seeking to find a quick solution to the tariff issue.
Although other states of this group have not been disclosed, Keller-Sutter has underlined that the US administration has committed itself to negotiating with these states to find an opportunity to ease tariffs.
We remember that, before the Trump administration suspended tariffs for 90 days, products imported from Switzerland were subject to a tax of 31% -- a higher level than the one imposed on European Union countries. Switzerland, otherwise, is not part of the EU bloc. /Periscope/
